Iona Novak

Iona Novak is a professor at the University of Sydney, Australia

She is the co-founder and director of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Institute at The University of Sydney, where she leads research in neuroprotection, neuroregeneration, and neurorehabilitation.

Iona Novak is an internationally recognised expert in cerebral palsy and Fulbright Scholar. She leads several national and international research programmes, including the Australian Cerebral Palsy Register, and has been a driving force behind major global collaborations and clinical trials.

Iona Novak is an occupational therapist with an MSc and a PhD degree. She has extensive clinical experience and a strong track record in evidence-based interventions, systematic reviews, randomised controlled trials and big data initiatives.
