Purpose and legal basis for the processing of your personal data

We process your personal data in order to be able to administer your course and ensure that it is a success.

The legal basis for our processing of your data is the General Data Protection Regulation’s Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) and the Danish Data Protection Act’s Section 6.

The part of our data processing that is based on the balancing of interests provision in the General Data Protection Regulation’s Article 6(1)(f) involves passing on your name on the list of participants that is sent to the rest of the people taking the course.

Categories of personal data

We process the data that you have submitted to us yourself and which we need in order to be able to administer your course registration and, if relevant, your payment: Name, address, phone number, email address and, if relevant, workplace.

Recipients of the data

We can pass on or hand over your personal data to the following categories of recipients:

  • IT suppliers and other data processors that provide the Elsass Foundation with its IT systems
  • The course instructors
  • The course location (if the course is held in an external location)
  • Other course participants

Where is your data from?

We have received the data submitted by you.

Storing of your data

We store the information on you having participated in the course in our system indefinitely, unless you ask us to delete this information.

Your rights

The Elsass Foundation always processes your personal data in a responsible manner and in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and Danish law.
